Prerequisite: Recommended some knowledge of the construction industry This course examines the roles and responsibilities of a construction estimator. Using both traditional and industry standard digital methods, the course will cover the cost of labor, material, and equipment by unit and by square foot; the fundamentals and effects of scheduling, including critical path, bar and gant charts; and the effect of the global economy on overall construction costs. This course is equivalent to CTC* K229.
