Prerequisites: ENG* K101; ECE* K150 and ECE* K182 This course is designed for students who have an understanding and knowledge of child development and the exceptional child. This course will require students to experience and understand Early Intervention Plans (EIP's), Individual Education Plans (IEP's), and a curriculum that is based on the individual needs of the exceptional child. This course will expose students to the fundamentals of classroom strategies, and techniques for exceptional students of all ages. Course content will be taught through the use of topics relevant to student needs and interests.
