Prerequisite: MAT* K186. This course will familiarize the student with the basic principles of hydraulics as related to the field of civil engineering. The understanding of basic fluid properties and water movement is given. Detail work in hydrostatics, Bernoulli's equation, pressure pipe systems, and uniform open channel flow is given. This course is equivalent to MEC* K270.
