1 semester, 4 credits Study of the microanatomy of animal cells, tissues, and select organs/organ systems.The correlation between structure and function is an overriding theme; genetic, molecular and developmental aspects of cells and tissues also will be addressed. Students will learn to recognize and identify cells, tissues and organs, and will refine their light microscopy skills in the lab. Prerequisites: BIO 103-104
