Utilizing textbook reading assignments and online lectures, activities and assignICVT 210 PRINCIPLES OF 3-0-3 INVASIVE CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGY I Fall This course will provide an introduction to the basic principles of Invasive Cardiovascular Technology. Topics include sterile technique, hemodynamic monitoring, diagnostic cardiovascular procedures and operation of equipment used to perform testing in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Open only to matriculated Invasive Cardiovascular Technology students. Prerequisites: RESP 101, Interpretation of the Electrocardiogram or equivalent experience; American Heart Association Basic Life Support, Course C for Health Care Providers. Corequisites: ICVT 211, Invasive Cardiovascular Technology Clinic I.
