Spring Students will examine the electrical transmission, distribution, and utilization systems used by large industrial and institutional consumers. Topics include overhead, and underground feeder equipment; interfacing with utility company facilities; switchgear and overcurrent protection; single phase, and three phase circuits; interior lighting fundamentals; interior branch circuits. This course will approach the subject matter from the operational, rather than the abstract, point of view.
