Fall Lab fee will be required. Assembly, testing, diagnosing and repairing of components of residential, commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. The properties of refrigerants are studied with respect to proper handling, storage and use. The use of hand tools, soldering and brazing and electrical test equipment use is demonstrated and practiced. Controls are an integral part of lab program. Corequisites: HVAC 130, Electrical Fundamentals; HVAC 110, Refrigeration Principles I.
