Fall Lab fee will be required. The student studies and practices the methods used in the installation of residential electric systems, includes basic shop skills and safety practices, residential systems layout, over current devices, and wiring methods with the emphasis on metallic sheathed cable. How to use and interpret the National Electric Code is emphasized throughout the semester to familiarize students with basic circuit concepts and accepted installation practices. Open only to matriculated Electrical Construction and Maintenance students.
