Fall, Spring, Summer Materials fee will be required This course is an introduction to the craft of picture framing as it applies to drawings, watercolors, paintings, photography, works on canvas, needlework, etc. Students will explore French Matting, glass cutting, stretcher construction and canvas preparation, and proper use of tools and aesthetics. Issues of preservation, stabilization of works on paper and canvas will be discussed. Students should bring samples to frame to the first class.
