Topics include physics of ultrasound, ultrasound instrumentation, emergency medical procedures, Doppler and transesophageal echocardiology. Clinical rotation is at Montefiore Medical Center where each student participates in approximately 150 procedures. Students completing this course will receive a certificate from Montefiore Medical Center. Prerequisite: BIO 24, permission of NMT Program Director.
