Introduction to using the Internet and World Wide Web (WWW) for business and general use. Emphasis on Internet tools which include E-mail, Chat rooms, Listservs, newsgroups, and Gopher as applied to business. Students optimize use of the Internet by learning how to identify and access information resources on the WWW through browsing, navigating, searching, and retrieving business-related information. Design and development of business-related Web pages. Prerequisites: ENG 01 or RDL 02 if required; KEY 10 or equivalent skill level with permission of the department.
