This course will cover the development of graphic design from the Industrial Revolution to the 21st Century. New digital art forms such as web design, computer animation, motion graphics design, interactive multimedia and 3-D graphics will also be examined. Coursework will include exams, written reports, online research, and museum visits. Prerequisites: ART 11 or by departmental permission.
