This course encompasses both the development of a multifaceted graphic design project and the production procedures necessary for projects to be printed professionally. Design projects will explore the creation of identity programs that will include multiple components. The interaction of design and production will be emphasized. Topics will include project management, understanding font utility programs and file preparation. How to produce reliable digital color proofs, create color separations and understanding color calibration will be covered. Pre/Corequisite: ART 86 or by departmental permission.
