(Prereq/Co: CIS 1115 & CIS 2153 or CIS 276 or CIS 2556) Students will learn how to plan, design, install and configure firewalls that will allow key services while maintaining security. This will include protecting the Internal IP services, configuring a firewall for remote access and managing a firewall. Topics include: discuss the planning and design of a firewall, installing and configuring a firewall, configuring a firewall to support outgoing services, providing external services securely, protecting internal IP services, configuring a firewall for remote access, and managing a firewall.
