Prerequisite: ELEC 1004 or permission of instructor This course is a study of basic solid state fundamentals related to P and N materials, semiconductor diodes, and transistors. Semiconductor diode theory is applied to half-wave and full-wave power supplies. Other emphasized topics are construction, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits that include diodes and transistors.
