Prerequisite: MAST 1080 This course furthers the student knowledge of the more complex activities in a physician's office. Topics include collection/examination of specimens and CLIA regulations; urinalysis; venipuncture, hematology and chemistry evaluations; advanced reagent testing (Strept Test, HcG , etc), administration of medications; emergency procedures of the medical office, respiratory evaluations, rehabilitative therapy procedures; principles of radiology safety and emergency procedures of the medical office.
