Prerequisite: SOCI 1101 and PSYC 1101 are recommended. This course includes a study of the nature, distribution, and characteristics of delinquency in America. Major studies concerning deviant behavior will be examined along with contemporary thinking related to causation and treatment. Social agencies which deal with the delinquency problem are also studied.
