This course is a study of the theoretical and descriptive aspects of chemistry. Includes a study of atomic and molecular structure, chemical reactions, the periodic classification of the elements, and stoichiometry. Also covered are kinetic molecular theory, gas laws, solutions, and thermochemistry. Lab fee required. Prerequisites: CHM 1032C or high school Chemistry and MAT 1033 or higher level math course.
