This course focuses on the analysis and design of local area networks. The Systems Development Life Cycle, Design Tools, and other related issues will be applied to the network field. Students will learn the design process for establishing and creating effective networks. Students will need to possess a strong grasp of networks and systems. Hands-on setup of networks will be a centralized part of the course. Lab fee required. Prerequisite: CET 2488C or CET 2792C or CTS 2131C.
