In this course the fundamental concepts of mechanics, including resultants of force systems, free body diagrams, equilibrium of rigid bodies, analyses of structures, friction, and moments of inertia will be discussed. The specific application of these concepts will be developed as they pertain to building design and construction. Lab fee required. Prerequisites: MAC 1105, MAC 1114, PHY 1053C, ETI 2420, all with grades of C or better.
