Prerequisite: Math 256. 3 credits This course involves a comprehensive introduction to the theory and applications of solving systems. Topics included are linear equations, vector and matrix algebra, determinants, eigenvectors and eigenvalues, orthogonality, least squares, symmetry, quadratic forms, and practical applications. Technology is a major component of the course, both computer and calculator work is utilized.
