Prerequisite: Eligibility for ENG 101. 3 credits formerly PS 131 International Relations The characteristics of the international community and the factors which determine relations between and among states are examined. The elements of national power, sovereignty, ideology, war, international organization and international law are discussed. Emphasis is given to the contemporary international political system and the factors which influence the behavior of the world's principal political units.
