Prerequisite: ENG 101, GER 202 or equivalent. 3 credits Contemporary gender issues in Austria, Germany and Switzerland will be studied by looking at the development of traditional, ethical, historical, political, religious and social theories. Issues and perspectives related to Feminist theory and practices in the United States, Europe, and other countries will also be examined.
