Prerequisites: ECE 182 or ECE 141 and ECE 101 or ECE 241. 3 credits formerly CGDV 110 Child Observation This course is designed to increase students' awareness and objectivity in observing and interpreting children's normal patterns of behavior and developmental characteristics. Students will complete 66 hours of observation and participation at the NCC Child Development Laboratory School or an NAEYC Accredited site at the discretion of the instructor. Per Connecticut State licensing, a physical, background check, and fingerprinting are required.
