Prerequisite: Successful completion of ENG 101 with "C" or better and CJS 101 or CJS105. 3 credits formerly CJ 202 Criminal Law Providing a comprehensive analysis of the criminal law of Connecticut, the course focuses on the scope, purpose and definitions of substantive criminal law and significant defenses. Case method is used to illustrate legal requirements for arrest and presentation of evidence.
