Prerequisite: Eligibility for ENG 101. 3 credits formerly CGDV 103 Child Growth and Development This course covers human development from prenatal through elementary education with emphasis on the preschool child. The physical, emotional, social and cognitive benchmarks through successive stages of development will be studied in depth. This course requires 10 hours of observation at the NCC Child Development Laboratory School or another NAEYC Accredited site in order to complete the course work.
