Prerequisite: Placement test. 4 credits This course is identical to MAT 075 except that it has one additional hour of instruction for students whose placement scores indicate this need. This course provides a review of how to use basic operations to manipulate whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percents. Content includes an introduction to ratios and proportions, measurements, and geometry. At the discretion of the instructor, students may be recommended to participate in Math Lab activities. Departmental exit assessment is required. Students must earn a C- or higher to move to the next level course, MAT 094.
