Prerequisite: Eng 101 or permission of instructor. 3 credits This course studies how culture and communication impact one another. The course will examine how one's cultural imprint - world view, values, customs, thought processes, language, etc. - affects how one communicates. A practical component of the course will be to understand and practice strategies and skills for achieving our ultimate goal: better understanding of and communication between all cultures.
