Prerequisite: ECE 101 and ECE 182. 3 credits new course This seminar and fieldwork course is designed for School Readiness Programs' teachers and other childcare providers to meet state and federal requirements for staff qualifications and who are preparing for their Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential through the Council for Professional Recognition in Washington, D.C. under its present requirements. The student will attend a weekly seminar and participate in a minimum of 66 hours of fieldwork in a licensed early childhood setting. Course instructor will conduct on-site observation visits.
