3 credits (spring) Prerequisite: BU123 Traditionally, business has been conducted in physical buildings. When the marketplace is electronic, business transactions occur across a telecommunications network where buyers and sellers rarely see or know each other and may be physically located anywhere in the world. Electronic business boosts performance and creates value by forming new relationships between and among businesses and customers. The main topics we discuss in the E-Business Systems course are: E-business systems, contemporary issues in E-business and Internet marketing, management, and the technology which makes the process of buying and selling of products and services across a telecommunication network possible.
