4 credits (spring) Prerequisites: MA105, MA109 or placement by the Depar tment of Science and Mathematics. Presents the concepts and applications of the calculus of a single variable including necessary principles of analytic geometry. Includes differentiation and integration of algebraic, logarithmic, exponential and trigonometric functions, related rates, maximum and minimum problems, elementary differential equations and probability integrals. Includes a brief introduction to functions of several variables. Problems are related to real-world situations. NOTE: MA110 is intended for students in the business, life science and liberal arts areas.
