Prerequisite: ENG 101. 3 credits This course analyzes how masculine and feminine styles of communication are different, why that is, and what the effects have been in shaping, sustaining, and changing our perceptions of gender. The contexts in which we experience gendered communication - family, school, work, etc. - and the theoretical basis for such contexts will be discussed.
