This course will provide information required to understand life energy requirements of well animals, common grains, forages and feeds, nutritional factors in disease conditions and nutritional treatments of these diseases, nutritional supplements and potential toxicities of supplements and additives, toxic reactions to various poisonous plants and other ingested substances and communication of hospital nutrition protocols.
