Topics covered include network address translation, proxy servers, stateful inspection of firewalls, basic VPNs, and intrusion detection systems. Emphasis is placed on installing, configuring, and managing today's most popular software and hardware firewalls. Lab fee required. Prerequisite: CIS 2355.
