This course provides the student with the essential concepts and process of web page development, starting with Extensible Hypertext Markup Language (XHTML) coding and building to more complex layouts using cascading style sheets (CSS). The course will emphasize a disciplined approach to software design and coding. Attention will be directed toward the impact of a designer's choices on communication, understanding and accessibility. Upon completion, all students will develop an original, dynamic, multi-paged Web site suitable for publishing on the WWW. CR: CIS 102 or adequate proficiency in basic computing skills
