Prerequisite: Prior departmental approval of a research proposal, 3.3 GPA orpermission of the department, and MATH 450Students actively participate in mathematical investigation andexposition, working in conjunction with a math faculty member onresearch questions. Review of relevant literature and research methodswill be incorporated. Students are required to present their findingsboth in writing (consistent with the standards of the discipline) and inpublic presentations. Topics vary by instructor.
