Prerequisite: ENG 102 or permission of Honors Coordinator. 3 credits Focusing primarily on non-Western societies, this course explores the social, historical and religious context, function and importance of creative expression in world cultures. Students will explore their own creative processes and will be asked to see relationships between realms of creative expression in different societies based on shared ideologies. Interrelationships between Western and non-Western artists and forms will also be examined.
