Prerequisites: ENG 101, ECE 182, ECE 101 or ECE 241, or permission of coordinator. 3 credits formerly ED 204 Workshop IV - Science and Math for Young Children In this workshop, students become familiar with science and math activities and materials that are appropriate for young children. In addition to exploring the environment, students begin to understand science and math not only as a bodies of knowledge but also as a way of learning through everyday objects and occurrences.
