3 credits (fall) Prerequisites: IS120 In this course, an overview of contemporary information systems technology management will be discussed. Today's managers should manage and control the information technology projects. Information is the intellectual capital of an organization, and managing the information is a core component of the organization. Students in this course will learn how to establish rules, guidelines and IT standards in using resources properly. If the resources are planned and managed appropriately, productivity is increased and costs are reduced.
