This course will involve the study of administrative theory, the context of bureaucracy, the environment of public service and the role of administrators in government. The students will examine theoretical approached to understanding the administration of criminal justice and human services agencies. This course will provide a selective survey of theoretical formations and empirical studies in public administration. NOTE: Offered as CJ315, GV315, and HS315.
