This course is designed to familiarize the senior practical nursing student with behavioral expectations of the new graduate practicing in the work place setting. Nursing leadership, management and professional practice for the LPN will be explored. Content will be presented that will aid in the completion of a professional portfolio. In addition, emphasis will be placed on the behaviors of professional decorum necessary in preparing for the job search and interview process. Employment opportunities, licensure and certification requirements, and continuing education options will be provided. Corequisites: PNR 41, PNR 44.
