Fall, Spring Lab fee will be required. The student will participate in the diagnostic, operative and post-operative care of the patient suffering from cardiovascular disease. The student will gain proficiency in cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, acquired heart disease, hemodynamic monitoring, and electrocardiography. This course is only open to matriculated Respiratory Care students or those with permission of the department chairperson. A letter grade of "C" or better isrequired for graduation. Prerequisites: RESP 125, Fundamentals of Respiratory Care II; RESP 200, Advanced Respiratory Life Support.
