Summer This course provides the student with a practical learning experience in all phases of basic radiologic technology by active participation in radiology departments of the area hospitals. Emphasis placed on perfecting performance, introduction to special procedures and new imaging modalities. If a student's clinical performance is unsatisfactory or if at any time the student's clinical performance compromises the safety of the patient, the student will be terminated from the program. Exit competencies are required for course completion. NOTE: The student is given either a pass/fail grade for this course with no quality points awarded. Open to matriculated Radiologic Technology students only. Prerequisite: XRAY 216, Clinical Education V.
