Spring This course provides the student with a practical learning experience in all phases of basic radiologic technology by active participation in radiology departments of the area hospitals. Emphasis is placed on film critique, trauma radiology, psychology of patient care, introduction of special procedures and new imaging modalities. If a student's clinical performance is unsatisfactory or if at any time the student's clinical performance compromises the safety of the patient, the student will be terminated from the program. Open to matriculated Radiologic Technology students only. Prerequisite: XRAY 206, Clinical Education IV. Corequisites: XRAY 212, Advanced Radiographic Procedures II; XRAY 214, Radiographic Seminar.
