Fall Lab fee will be required. This course provides the student with a practical learning experience in all phases of basic radiologic technology by active participation in radiology departments of the area hospitals. Emphasis is placed on new hospital orientation, film critique, and pediatric and geriatric radiology. If a student's clinical performance is unsatisfactory or, if at any time the student's clinical performance compromises the safety of the patient, the student will be terminated from the program. Open to matriculated Radiologic Technology students only. Prerequisite: XRAY 126, Clinical Education III. Corequisites: XRAY 202, Advanced Radiographic Procedures I; XRAY 204, Nursing Procedures & Medical Surgical Diseases; XRAY 200, Radiological Health.
