Fall, Spring This course examines the principles of labor law. Students will concentrate on major provisions of the National Labor Relations Act, examining how the NLRB and the federal courts have interpreted the national labor laws. Studentswill also examine the Taylor Law and its impact on public sector workers. Discussion will include new directions in labor legislation with consideration given to the impact of labor laws on workers, unions and employees.
