Fall Lab fee will be required. This course offers hands-on experience in the principles and practices of single phase and three phase transformer operation. Students complete a series of jobs that progress from basic to very complex connections utilizing transformer systems most often found in the power distribution industry today. The National Electric Code and safe work habits are stressed at all times. Prerequisite: ECMN 174, Commercial Construction Wiring: Part II. Corequisite: ECMN 255, Transformers and Motors: Part I.
