Spring This course is a continuation of the basic principles of oral health care delivery, with an emphasis on the dental hygiene process. The theories supporting the management of patients presenting with preventive and therapeutic oral health care needs are discussed and applied to patient care. Open only to matriculated Dental Hygiene students. Prerequisites: BIOL 136, Anatomy and Physiology; DHYG 105, Tooth Morphology and Occlusion; DHYG 110, Preventive Dentistry I. Corequisites: DHYG 121, Clinical Dental Hygiene I; DHYG 117, Dental Radiology.
