Fall This is an introductory course that exposes students to carotid, peripheral venous and peripheral arterial examinations. A study of segmental pressures, ultrasonic imaging techniques, and plethysmography will be introduced. Astudy of patient histories and physical signs, patient preparations, anatomy, basic hemodynamics, duplex doppler imaging, and color doppler techniques are a few of the areas to be covered. Basic generalized pathology of the vascular system will be covered.
