Spring Lab fee will be required. This course begins with a study of the chemistry and cell biology necessary in order to understand photosynthesis. After photosynthesis, students study alternation of generations in various groups of photosynthetic organisms, beginning with algae and culminating with flowering plants. The course concludes with the study of the morphology and physiology of flowering plants.
